If you are planning a wedding, party, dinner, function, corporate event or indeed any celebration I can set just the right mood.  I am an experienced solo pianist who can offer a wide repertoire to suit any event in London, Surrey, Kent, Sussex, Hampshire the South East and beyond.

I can also provide an unobtrusive duo or trio for sophisticated background music.  For weddings, larger events or festivals choose a four to six piece jazz band to make your party go with a swing.

If your venue does not have a piano, I can provide a digital, electric piano.  I have full public liability insurance and all of my equipment is PAT tested.

Listen to my audio samples and please do not hesitate to contact me for a discussion of your individual requirements.

I have vast experience of playing at festivals and concerts at home and abroad and have been featured in numerous TV and Radio broadcasts.  I was accompanist to George Melly for more than 10 years and frequently played at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club in London.

I am also a composer and am currently working on a couple of film projects. I have an MA in composition.

My most recent CD was featured in The Telegraph Top 50 Jazz CDs.

In recent years I have been a featured guest across Europe, performing at the Los Angeles Jazz Festival, the prestigious Nice Jazz Festival and with many visiting American jazz greats including Wild Bill Davison, Kenny Davern, Warren Vache, Al Casey and Benny Waters. I have played with the British bands of Acker Bilk, Terry Lightfoot and Kenny Ball and at the BAFTA  Awards, Swanage Jazz Festival, The National Theatre and Thaxted Arts Festival.

"Thank you so much for your beautiful playing last Saturday; just right for lovely background music to enhance the mood without making conversation difficult. It was much appreciated."
